2007

Jack Power, Phil Vanderkill and Cosy Coxx found SERGEANT STEEL. First demo tracks appear on Myspace. The triumvirate starts to look for a drummer and a second guitar player.

2008

Phil and Chuck Boom get in touch at a concert. They talk about their common past in „Kurzschluss“ (classic rock cover-band). Chuck admits that he wants to go in a musically heavier direction again, after years in the field of jazz and pop music. After a meeting at Jack’s apartment SERGEANT STEEL finally make up a foursome. At the same time Cosy gets in contact with his cousin Kevin King. With a distinctive interest in Queen he seizes to opportunity to join SERGEANT STEEL. The band plays their first live show in august.

2009

Keyboarder/ piano player Ben Bateman joins SERGEANT STEEL. Debut album „LOVERS & MANIACS“, produced & mixed by Jack Power, is sent to the United States Of America. The record is mastered by Beau Hill in Los Angeles.

2010

SERGEANT STEEL release „LOVERS & MANIACS“ successfully on their own. The album is celebrated by international music press such as METAL HAMMER Germany (“Demo of the month”, Issue 10/2010), ROCK HARD Germany, HEAVY Germany, SLEAZE ROXX USA, and many more. Ronny Roxx succeeds Cosy Coxx on bass guitar. Cosy leaves the band in a friendly way due to personal reasons.

2011

SERGEANT STEEL signs records deal with Refused Records. „Lovers & Maniacs“ is now officially released world- wide. The band starts recording a second album.
